Megha Nair has shared a photo with her new partner Anoop amid ongoing controversy surrounding her relationship with Akhil NRD. The photo is reportedly the first time Megha has publicly revealed an image of herself with Anoop. The development comes amid reports that Megha had left Akhil’s home and gone with another person, along with earlier CCTV footage that showed her leaving the house late at night.

The main allegation surrounding the incident was that Megha had left with the conductor of a bus she had travelled on for examination coaching. At the time, neither Megha nor Akhil had issued an explanation regarding the reports. Following the controversy, both remained largely inactive on their Instagram pages before returning to public attention. Megha had also shared photographs indicating that she was staying at her father’s house. Meanwhile, Akhil NRD also appeared in a new reel, which quickly gained attention on social media.

Megha had initially appeared alongside Akhil in his reels and had gained a following even before their marriage. The couple got married in 2024 and continued to share posts together regularly. It is currently unclear whether they have officially separated.

Amid the controversy, Megha directly responded to the claims through an Instagram Story. She acknowledged that she had left Akhil’s home with another person but said she had not done so with the intention of abandoning him. According to Megha, there were reasons behind her decision to leave that she did not want to disclose publicly.

She also denied reports that she had taken gold or other belongings from Akhil’s house. Megha said she had not taken anything belonging to others and had only retained her own belongings.

In an earlier statement, Megha said she had stayed with Anoop for 10 days and had briefly returned to her father’s house during that period. She said she later returned to Anoop’s home, where she was still staying. Megha also said that she and Akhil had signed an agreement not to make accusations against each other publicly.

Addressing reports about the belongings, Megha said Akhil’s gold had been returned to him and that she had also received her own gold back. She maintained that she had not left the house with anything that did not belong to her.
