**Thiruvananthapuram: **The Enforcement Directorate has handed over the ED report to the Home Secretary.

The recommendation in the report is for registering a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The state government will have to decide when the report should be forwarded to the Vigilance department. According to information, a decision on whether to seek legal advice and other related matters will be taken after consultations between the Chief Minister and the Home Minister.

According to the ED report, Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan allegedly received Rs 3.28 crore as bribe through his daughter T. Veena. The ED has made this allegation based on the statement of P. Sureshkumar, the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief General Manager (CGM) of CMRL. Based on his statement, the ED alleges that Pinarayi Vijayan received the alleged bribe amount through Veena.

The ED report also states that Veena and her associates allegedly attempted to transfer the money to Dubai. These claims form part of the allegations presented by the Enforcement Directorate in its report.

The ED has further alleged in its letter to the state police chief that former minister and MLA P.A. Mohammed Riyas helped transfer the alleged corruption money abroad through his friends.

The Enforcement Directorate has sought registration of a case and an investigation against a total of 13 people. Those named in the ED's request include Pinarayi Vijayan, Mohammed Riyas, Veena, CMRL Managing Director S. S. Kartha, P. Sureshkumar and employees, among others.

The report will now be considered in accordance with the position taken by the police that the Vigilance department is the appropriate authority to examine the allegations and recommendation made by the ED.
