**New Delhi:** Chinese President Xi Jinping has announced five new initiatives aimed at strengthening ties with Global South countries during the second day of the BRICS Summit held in New Delhi. He called on BRICS members to strengthen their relations with emerging markets and maintain stable industrial and supply chains. Xi also proposed the creation of an integrated market aimed at promoting global cooperation and economic development.

The five initiatives announced by Xi focus on artificial intelligence, trade, the digital economy, manufacturing and talent development, with the aim of increasing cooperation among BRICS countries.

Under the open-source AI initiative, Xi proposed establishing a BRICS AI open-source community and promoting cooperation in large language models. The proposal is intended to strengthen cooperation among member countries in the field of artificial intelligence.
