The discussion reportedly focused on how the party should approach different types of criticism, respond to misleading campaigns and maintain a culture of internal criticism and self-criticism.

According to the points presented at the meeting, communists should accept with enthusiasm and respect criticism that emerges from a genuine concern that the Communist Party should remain strong and that ordinary sections of society would otherwise have no support if the party were to weaken.

Such criticism, according to the presentation, should be viewed positively rather than dismissed.
