The rally is expected to bring together people from different sections, showcasing the strength of the working-class movement in the district. Those attending the event are expected to carry the red flag associated with the sacrifices of martyrs and gather along the Kozhikode coast.

CPM General Secretary M A Baby and Politburo members Pinarayi Vijayan, M V Govindan and A Vijayaraghavan will address the gathering at the rally scheduled for 4 pm. Other party leaders and representatives are also expected to participate in the event.
