A 28-year-old Malayali woman died after the car in which she was travelling collided with a lorry in Gundlupet while returning from Mysore. Lisna, wife of Nabeel, son of Pattissery Mohammed of Padinjare Palode, died in the accident. The collision occurred at around 6 pm on Wednesday as the group was travelling back home after a trip to Mysore.

Nabeel and a group comprising family members and relatives had travelled from Palode to Mysore for a holiday on Tuesday. The group included Sabeed, son of Parakkallil Kareem Haji, Sabeed’s wife, their son, and Nabeel’s two children. Lisna was also travelling with the group.

On Wednesday evening, the group began its journey back from Mysore. While they were returning home, the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry in Gundlupet. The accident took place at around 6 pm.

Lisna sustained serious injuries in the accident and subsequently died. Following the accident, her body was kept at the Gundlupet Government Hospital.

The group had travelled from Palode to Mysore on Tuesday as part of a holiday trip and was returning home on Wednesday evening when the accident occurred. The group consisted of family members and relatives, including Sabeed, his wife and their son, as well as Nabeel’s two children.
