Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cancer Centre has invited applications for admission to the 2026-27 Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing course. Applications must be submitted by 5 pm on October 3. The course has a duration of 12 months, and selected students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000.

A total of 20 seats are available for the course. The seat distribution includes 11 seats under General Merit, two under SEBC, and two under SC/ST. Two seats are reserved under the Service Quota for RCC staff, while two seats are for CDME staff. One seat is reserved for persons with disabilities under the Locomotor Disability category.

Candidates seeking admission must have a BSc Nursing qualification or a General Nursing and Midwifery Diploma. They must also have passed Plus Two or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects. The age limit for applicants is 35 years. Applicants must be registered with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNM).

The printout of the application, along with copies of the relevant certificates and documents and the fee in the form of a Demand Draft, must reach the Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram-695011, before 4 pm on October 9.

The envelope carrying the application should be superscribed with ‘Application for PBDON-2026’.
