DUBAI: UAE-based businessman Amjad Sithara has gifted new Jetour T2 luxury cars to five employees in recognition of their contribution to the growth of his company. The vehicles were presented to the employees as a reward for their performance. The handover ceremony was organised as a complete surprise, without any advance announcement to the recipients.

A native of Kannur, Amjad is the chairman and managing director of Dubai-based BCC Group and BCC Properties. His approach of sharing a portion of his business success with employees has already drawn attention in Gulf business circles.

BCC Group recorded 130% growth last year. Following the strong performance, the company rewarded its employees with higher bonuses and other incentives compared with previous years. The latest gesture continued that approach, with five employees receiving new Jetour T2 luxury vehicles for their contribution to the organisation’s growth. Speaking at the vehicle handover ceremony, Amjad said the success of a company should not be viewed as the achievement of its owner alone.

He said every person who works sincerely behind an organisation has a role in its success. Amjad also said it was important for a business to grow by supporting and taking along the people who grow with the organisation. The surprise presentation of the five vehicles was intended to recognise employees whose work had contributed significantly to the company’s progress.

The event also reflected BCC Group’s practice of providing bonuses and other incentives to employees based on the company’s performance.

The five employees received their vehicles at the unannounced ceremony as recognition for their work and contribution to the Dubai-based group’s growth.
